Mumford and Son’s New Album!

So Mumford & Son’s new album ‘Babel’ was finally released on the 24^th of September 2012! This album contains 12 incredible songs with 3 additional bonus tracks.

Mumford & Sons are an English alternative indie folk rock band. The group was formed December 2007, their first debut album being Sigh No More that was released two years later in October 2009. This reached number two in the UK album chart and Billboard 200 in the US but a more triumphant number one in Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.

This album most definitely hasn’t disappointed in expectations with its inspiring and uplifting lyrics and composition. I would without a doubt recommend this album to anyone despite his or her taste in music. Their album title is named after their song ‘Babel’ which is understandably chosen due to its admirable originality. Mumford & Son’s ability to make you want to get up and dance or sing along (whether you can or not) freely without a care in the world is simply refreshing. They can, alike other artists, evoke a variety of emotions in you with Marcus Mumford’s rough and ready leading vocals. What more can I do than leave you with a little taste of paradise: you can thank me later!
