Minor Setbacks, Major Comebacks

Yesterday was either a happy day or a sad day for A Level students.

When I saw my results it was nothing like I expected, absolute disappointment. I could have chosen to have a sad day and feel sorry for myself until a friend who also did bad reminded me of a quote I put on ADS a few weeks ago…

“The world ant all sunshine and rainbows its a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and leave you there. You me or anybody is going to hit as hard as life but it ant about how hard you are hit, its about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much can you take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done!”

At this moment in time, its time to put this quote to action! You may have been knocked down, so now its up to you whether to get back up and keep fighting. If you’re going to comeback, you’ve got to comeback harder than ever! No one is going to do it for you, it will take courage and determination to get back up. If there has been one thing I’ve learned about working hard is that you’ve got to hit the ground running!

On the other hand, congratulations to those who got what they wanted and accepted into their chosen Universities.
