Team GB Finally get Gold!!!

Yes, I knew this day would come some time! Team GB have finally got there Gold Medal of the 2012 London Olympics!

The best thing about it is that we didn’t get just one gold medal today, but two! We are on a role here for sure!

It started off with the women’s rowing pair, Helen Glover and Heather Stanning have become the first ever women to win Gold medal in rowing for Great Britain, along with getting our first Gold Medals of the games! Did you know in Heather Stannings yearbook, she was predicted that she will be their first Olympic Gold Winner…Coincidence? I think not! LOL!

Then Bradley Wiggins does what does best…Ride Bikes Very Fast LOL! The Tour De France winner has now won the Men’s Road Time Trial and received a Gold Medal. To just win the worlds biggest bike rice and then come and win a Gold Medal a few days later is an absolutely phenomenal achievement! Also, Bradley Wiggins has seven Olympic medals to his name and has now become Great Britain’s most decorated Olympian.

On to the aquatic side of things, Great Britain’s Michael Jamieson has won Silver in the Men’s 200m breastroke final, after narrowly being beat my Hungary’s Daniel Gyurta who also broke the world record. Jamieson gave it his all and manage to break the British record in the final, which is another great achievement!

Seem’s like Team GB are getting better and better everyday!
