Alex Ferguson Chases Down Van Persie

Sir Alex Ferguson has said that he thinks Robin Van Persie will soon be on his way to Old Trafford. As we all know Robin has said he will not sign a new contract with Arsenal with 12 months left on his current contract, in other words he wants to leave the non-trophy winning team! Since then Van Persie has had many links with teams such as Juventus, Manchester City and United, but Juventus have left the race due to signing a much younger play (Stevan Jovetic) for a cheaper deal. The United Boss said that he wants to buy Van Persie so he can Rooney can created a ‘Formidable Strike Force’. Personally, I think Van Persie should stay with the gunners, he may not win trophies with them but he will become an Arsenal Legend and will have his own statue…I mean what guy wouldn’t love a statue of him self, eh?

Is this going to be like Luka Modric and Chelsea or is Alex Ferguson going to close the deal?
