In the last year most of the A-Level grades predicted after their final results have been totally wrong!

Predicted grades play a huge part in the university application process, poor grades could mean the declining of an applicant which means this could have had a big impact on students universities.

Only 48% of predicted grades were correct for pupils taking the OCR exam board’s A-levels in summer 2012, in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Almost one in 10 of the wrong forecasts, more than 15,000 entries, were incorrect by more than one grade. For this one exam board, there were more than 186,000 incorrect forecasts for that summer’s A-levels.

This is another reason why we have to work hard; if your predicted grade is a B/C, go past that…never settle for mediocre!
