Tyler Perry!

Tyler Perry’s work is phenomenal. If you know, you know. If you don’t… well you my friend need to educate yourself on Tyler Perry’s amazing films and plays, I would say that you’re missing out on something. Most of us know the infamous Madea films which never failed to have us in stitches as we followed the mad black woman around on her various escapades. Let’s not forget Perrys touching films like why did I get married and the family that preys; but this year he surely delivers with his new movie which was originally a play Temptations: confessions of a marriage counsellor starring Vanessa Williams, Kim Kardashian and Brandy Norwood.

The movie which was originally a screen play centres around a young married couple Judith played by Jurnee Smollett-Bell and Brice played by Lance Gross who were childhood sweethearts, brought up in the church, growing up to love each other before exchanging vows and moving on to a big city to achieve their dreams . we are also introduced to Kim Kardashian who plays the assistant to the infamous Vanessa Williams who looks down on her co-workers for not meeting her standards on fashion and beauty, I think a few people would agree that Kim’s acting was a bit poor, too forced in my opinion but she tried her best so props to Kim K. It’s a surprise she didn’t play herself

In this movie, the true meaning of being tempted and giving into temptation is really highlighted. Ladies, you could learn a thing or two from the performances’ you will see update yourselves on how to be independent women with your own minds along with patience and faith. Religion is also touched lightly through the movie, a voice of reason, highlighting some thoughtful provoking scriptures. Giving advice some would calmly overlook.

If you were Judith what would you have done? Is that kind of temptation THAT hard to resist? Food for thought.

Ladies and gentlemen, if you haven’t already watched it, GET TO IT!!!! I’m sure some of you will cry but more praise to Tyler Perry, a couple of life lessons we could all take into consideration there.
