Ray Lewis – R I S E

Many of you won’t have a clue who this guy is, and neither did I until a couple days ago. Ray Lewis is a former American Football linebacker, who played his whole 17-year career for the Baltimore Ravens. Ray is know for his harsh tackles, incredible interceptions and fast runs, you know what time it is when you see number 52 on the field…;)

However, not everything was lovey dovey for Ray, at a party in 1996 a fight broke out between him and group of friends and another group of people, where 2 men were fatally stabbed and lost their lives. Ray was given a 12 month probation sentence due to disturbing the course of justice after lying about 2 of his companions purchasing knives from a sports authority. His 2 friends were acquitted of the murder and since then nobody has been arrested.

From there on his life changed, he was able to reach a deal with one of the daughters of the guys who died at the party (she was born months after her fathers death) and settled an undisclosed deal with the other family. He had won many awards from ‘Super Bowls Most Valuable Player’ to ‘NFL Most Defensive Player’ (Twice!!!)
